What’s Scout Network?

Scout Network is the fifth section of the Scouting family and is open to anyone who is 18 to 25 and still wants to enjoy Scouting. Members of the Scout Network wear a full adult uniform, when it is appropriate, which consists of a stone coloured shirt, navy trousers/skirt, and a necker.

Who can join Scout Network?

Young adults, aged 18-25 years, are members of the District Network. The section is very flexible to allow young adults to continue their involvement in Scouting while they are away at university or college, acting as a leader in a section or simply to keep in touch with friends.

There is an emphasis on meeting up socially to enjoy some fun time together, as well as adventurous activities, such as camping, caving, canoeing, climbing, etc. Many members also work towards the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Scheme during their time in the Network.
