Zooming Around with Settle Beavers

Zoom meetings have proved highly successful for Settle Beavers. Spring sessions have included a Mad Scientists’ evening when the Beavers made raisins dance, temporarily paralysed their fingers and floated a metal paper clip on water, all to earn their Experiment Badge.

Not surprisingly, making Rocky Road and tasting their creations went down well, too! With Mother’s Day on the horizon, making cards for their mums was a particularly poignant session as it marked the start of lockdown, followed by a whole year of disruption, which brought home just how long it’s been since the Colony could meet in the Drill Hall! Hopefully, they will be back there soon.
