Ukraine Appeal

Ingleton Scout Group are needing your help! Katrina, the Scout Leader has put out a plea as follows:
“Hi, I am getting in touch with you, our Scouting family, to ask for your help. Like our Scouting friends around the world, we are deeply concerned by the heart-breaking situation unfolding in Ukraine. In the Ukraine we have many Scouting comrades and children who are suffering at this time. At times like these we stand shoulder to shoulder with our friends in crisis and remind ourselves we’re part of a worldwide family of Scouts. As I write this, Polish Scouts are welcoming and helping refugees that are coming into Poland.
I, with the help of others, want to send items to Ukraine. If we can help one person it will be worth it.
If anyone can donate any of these items, please bring them to Scouts on a Wednesday. We are at Mealbank Hall, off Oddies Lane, in Ingleton from 7pm till 8.30pm. I know this is very short notice but it will be continuing for the next couple of weeks. Once collected, I will be passing the items over to Kelly Shilito Robinson who is helping sort out the donations.
I don’t normally put messages like this out but I feel as a Scout Leader that I have to help others in need at this sad time.”
