Squirrels Scampered into Mealbank Hall

Following a trail of decorative bunting, balloons and Squirrel logos, a dozen excited 4-5 years olds skipped into Mealbank Hall in Ingleton last week for the very first meeting of a newly formed Squirrel Drey.

Starting with a special song to welcome everyone, Claire Hargreaves, the volunteer Squirrel leader, led the youngsters through a variety of fun activities including making a model Squirrel out of carpet pieces, hunting for acorns and ball games. The session finished with a story about Little Rabbit Foo Foo, which the Squirrels loved.
