Settle Scouts Welcome Ukrainian Lads
1st Castleberg Scouts have opened their doors to Ukrainian Scouts. School was difficult for the foreign visitors but playing games at Scouts are just up their street, even if the leaders did find explaining the rules somewhat challenging! When asked what they liked best about England, it was wonderful to hear that one said Scouts!
What better way to include International Scouting in a section programme? Well done to the Settle leadership team for helping to bring a little fun to two young people suffering from the trauma of a devastating conflict and the distressing effects of separation from family members.
