Double Congratulations!
Congratulations and a big ‘Thank You’ go to Ingleton and District Covid-19 volunteers for scooping, not just one, but two awards at Craven’s Community Champions Awards Ceremony!
‘Best Community Group’ and ‘Health and Wellbeing’ stars were received on behalf of the volunteers by team leader and Scouting volunteer, Jayne Lis and @John Emsley, former Ingleton Scout Leader.
During the pandemic, the efforts of the team, including the Ingleborough District Commissioner, Cathy Tazzyman, who trained as a vaccinator, plus other District Supporters and Administrators, made a positive difference to the well-being of members of the community. By helping residents in their time of need, by administering thousands of vaccinations and giving assistance in countless practical ways, the community was very well supported.
