County Cub Camp brings smiles!

Cub Camp Leadership Team 2018

After a highly successful North Yorkshire event, Cathy Tazzyman, ADC (Cubs) reported, “The chance to go to the Cub Camp at Pateley Bridge always brings a smile to the Ingleborough Cub Leaders’ faces. We say that the camp is for the Cubs to have fun but the Ingleborough leaders enjoy their time there, too! This is the time for Leaders and Cubs to unite, so we danced, we sang, we made music, we stepped back in time and marched like soldiers. We caved and we climbed, we were shown round the Space Station, we drove moon buggy’s and we even mountain biked.

We did so much, even leading a 700+ conga from the top of camp into the main hub base to close the camp down. But the best ever thing was all the leaders making wonderful memories for a group of wonderful Cub Scouts.”

Ingleborough District is so fortunate in having a lively and energetic team to lead the combined contingent of Settle and Ingleton Cubs to this event. From all accounts, they gave it their all to make the weekend successful and you can’t ask more than that!
