Beavers Lift Off into Space!
11 December 2017

Ingleton Beavers were recently visited by Rev. Ken Clapham, a space enthusiast who used to work with NASA. He talked to the youngsters about space travel and astronauts, and brought with him a real space suit, moon rock, an anti-gravity pen and pieces of a rocket that landed on the moon! The photo shows three Beavers sitting close to each other as they would for nine days if they travelled to the moon in a rocket. The Beavers were not surprisingly enthralled by his fascinating talk and learnt a lot which will help them gain their Space badge.
