District AGM
19 June 2017

AGM 2017 DSC09160 Exec DSC09165There was a brilliant turnout at this year’s AGM, probably the highest attendance for many years, with Leaders, Young Leaders and Executive Members all showing their support for Ingleborough District. Following the first part of the meeting which dealt with the annual reports, approval of accounts and election of officers, the County Secretary, David Forster, delivered an upbeat message from the County Commissioner outlining his plans for the future. These include restructuring the County Team, with an emphasis on the ‘Three P’s’, People, Programme and Perceptions. This was followed by the presentation of Wood Badges to Cathy Tazzyman, Assistant District Commissioner (Cubs) and Anne Cox, District Commissioner, on completion of their management training.

Finally, everyone enjoyed refreshments and an opportunity to chat and exchange ideas with their fellow Scouters. Grateful thanks go to ADC (Scouts), Chris Maudsley, and the staff of The Knight’s Table, Little Stainforth, for their superb hospitality.
