Late Night Shopping
Once again this Christmas there was a prominent Scouting presence at the Late Night Shopping event in Ingleton at the beginning of December. The village sparkled in the festive lights and the Ingleton Scout stall was well placed in the Square, near to where Santa arrived to visit his grotto, talented dancers performed, and festive music filled the air.
Not only did the Scout leaders do a good trade selling soup, drinks and other refreshments but they also ensured that Scouting was promoted in the community.
The whole occasion had a wonderfully festive atmosphere and, by the end of the evening, the Group had made £77, enabling them to give a small donation to the organisers who run the event on behalf of the NSPCC.
